Great Car Service

Professional Tyre Fitting

Most tyre brands are available from economy right through to premium brands such as Continental, Michelin, Dunlop and many more.

Remember: The price we give you on the phone is the price you pay for your tyres - there are no hidden extras!

Wheel Balancing

Wheel balancing helps to ensure that the weight of the wheel is even when it turns. Every time a new tyre is mounted onto an axle, the wheel should be rebalanced to ensure it continues to rotate evenly.

Wheels that are not balanced or are out of balance generally produce a vibration that is uncomfortable to the driver and results in premature wearing of tyres, suspension and steering components.

Alignment & Tracking

Checking your wheel alignment on your car or van regularly can prolong the life of your tyres by up to 12,000 miles, increase fuel efficiency and fix steering issues.

McKay Motor Services offers a free wheel alignment check to ensure your wheels are properly aligned and reduce the likelihood of steering and suspension issues.

Tyre Safety Check

Checking your legal tyre tread depth is one of the most important checks you can make on your car.

Having worn tyres means the only contact patch between you and the road is past its best. You could almost call it an accident waiting to happen.
If the safety risks don’t hit home, maybe the risk of a £2,500 fine and three penalty points for a worn tyre will? That’s per tyre, too. If all four tyres are worn below the legal limit, you could potentially lose your licence and face a £10,000 fine.
